Changes to Datix - Monday 16 May

The CHFT inbox recently received some glowing words from a family who have lost their 90-year-old father. Elizabeth Collins, writes: "My father was admitted to CRH late on 01/04/16 age 90 and very poorly. It was agreed he should be put on an end of life pathway the following morning and he died at 5 am on 07/04/16. read more
RCTP - "I want to know what it all means" - good turnout at HRI for the first staff drop-in session
Around 50 colleagues came along to the first HRI staff information drop-in session about proposed changes to health and community services yesterday. The programme driven by our CCGs is called Right Care, Time, Place and consultation runs until June 21. read more
Praise for A&E & CCU.. from our staff nurse - and patient - Sara Hill
Staff nurse, Sara Hill, recently visited CHFT in the A&E and CCU departments at Calderdale Royal Hospital but this time to receive care rather than provide it. Meet Angela Hope our new lead for Clinical skills and Simulation!
Angela Hope has joined the Trust as lead for Clinical Skills and Simulation. She will be working three days a week and will work cross site although her office base is in the Learning and Development Centre at Calderdale Royal Hospital. read more
Summer childcare in Lindley
Shape Lindley Summer club - a not-for -profit organisation - is running a club starting from 25th July - 2nd September 2016 for children aged between 5 to 13-years-old with half and full days available. Booking before the end of the month means there is a 10% discount. In June bookings will get discount for extra children. read more
