New teams on the first step to Better Births

Meet Teams Florence and Rosa – the first two of nine new proposed teams being created here at our Trust to provide continuity of care to new mums.  Team Florence Nightingale - top - who picked their name based on the theme of strong women, is based at the HRI Birth Centre, which currently sees around 250 births per year.

Officially Outstanding - fantastic re-accreditation for Cardiac Rehab programme

Our Cardiac Rehabilitation Programme is one of only 51 in the UK to be rated as outstanding – ultimately helping provide the best care for our patients.  Our Trust was one of only 51 out of almost 200 to get the outstanding rating, and Cardiac Rehabilitation and Heart Failure Sister/Team Leader, Clair Jones couldn’t be more proud.

Locala rated as Good by the CQC

Following their inspection last October, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) has this week confirmed that Locala has achieved an overall rating of Good for the community health services it provides.    read more
