Our annual leave purchase scheme gives colleagues the option to acquire up to 10 days additional annual leave each in a year (pro-rata for part time employees) which is great for colleagues who may have used their holidays up for one reason or another.
The basic points to note are:
- Your manager will take into account safe staffing levels and whether or not you have carried forward any annual leave from the previous year
- Colleagues will not be able to work on the bank or take overtime on purchased annual leave days
- Leave can be purchased at any point throughout the year - it can be paid for during the remainder of the year against your salary, or as a salary sacrifice scheme (as long as it doesn't take your earning below the national minimum wage)
- Colleagues must complete a form which is sent to their manager for approval and processing
