Knee-rly there. Day case surgery run close at Transformation finals.

There were celebrations x3 yesterday at the Healthcare Transformation Awards  finals in London.  Linda Denham, Adele Lee and Jo Spencer from ward 8A and our  Digital Day Case Knee Pathway were Highly Commended in the Digital Innovation category.  And their highpoint of the day - very, very special coffees in their own images*.    Our Mandy Griffin is in the running to be Digital Health's Chief Information Officer of the Year.  She was put forward for her “unrelenting” vision for digitisation which has seen CHFT ranked joint first in the Clinical Digital Maturity Index. She has two rival contenders from Newcastle and Birmingham.

Merged teams create new respiratory care unit.

In this, the third part of our Medical Services Reconfiguration series we look at the benefits for our patients with respiratory conditions who are now all cared for at CRH.  Respiratory, (CRH) elderly care (HRI)  and cardiology (CRH) were moved to single sites after the Royal College of Physicians recommendations back in December 2017.

"Judge" Radcliffe's the Queen of Crossfit.

Sara Radcliffe - our senior paediatric audiologist - is off to the USA  on judging duties.  She's been selected to judge The Crossfit Games in Madison, Wisconsin in August, from thousands of applicants and is only one of  two people from the UK to have been chosen.  read more

Our Lisa's inspirational talk gathers praise from Nutritional Support Symposium

Community Dietician Lisa Green joined her patient Gary Taylor recently to present their story to the Nutritional Support Symposium at the Royal Society of Medicine.  Lisa won a CHFT Star Award last August for supporting Gary to run the London Marathon.  read more
