ED consultant, Mark Davies and registrar Michaela Blood, 12 ambulance personnel and 32 first-aiders kept 28,000 Take That fans safe during the band’s epic concert in Huddersfield on Tuesday night.   The crowd ranged from babes in arms to grannies and grandads and the John Smith Stadium rocked.

Well run Jessica. Personal best for Dr Gray and 800 raised for children's hospice.

 Doctor Jessica Gray raised more than £800 for the Forget Me Not Hospice and admits: "It was the hardest things I've ever done."  Jessica an FY1 in paediatrics, completed the Swedish Marathon, at the weekend and said: "The hardest bit was the bridge at 35km.

Supporting ex-servicemen and women CHFT colleagues.

Our Trust is very proud to be fully signed-up to  the Veterans’ Covenant – supporting colleagues who are ex-service personnel.  We want to be able to support all colleagues at work, and it is now well-recognised that ex-services personnel may need extra professional support.  read more

Happy retirement to the Rev Di Ellerton

After almost 56 years in the NHS, the Rev'd Di Ellerton – sometime nurse, sometime health visitor and sometime chaplain – has decided to retire.   As well as the Chaplaincy goodbye held this week there will also be the chance to sign her card and go along to her final "do" in Holme village.  read more
