Temporary extra role for Owen with NHS Confederation
Our CEO, Owen Williams has been appointed temporary Chair of the NHS Confederation (NHSC) and he will fulfil his duties alongside his role here at CHFT. The NHSC appointment is on an interim basis and follows the decision of the current NHSC Chair Stephen Dorrell to stand for the Change UK party at the European Elections next month. Sally Grose in an occupational therapist working in the Community Rehabilitation team, part of the Support & Independence team. As part of our early supported discharge pathway for stroke survivors, she gets to work with people as soon as they come out of hospital and continue their rehab in their own home. read more

Our Trust has the greatest take-up* to YourEPR by patients in the country. Your EPR is a secure website that lets patients see information about their healthcare online and so far around 10,500 have signed up. Once registered, patients can see information such as future appointments, some blood results, discharge summaries and clinic letters. read more
