Mr Barker is Bradford's "Grand Grass Cutter" and a proper neighbour.

CHFT is one of 300 organisations signed up to a new Yorkshire-wide campaign to look after our neighbours.

It has a special street-sign style which is going round the partners involved and here it is at our Weekly Exec Board meeting.

It's been launched by the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership.

Our Chief Operating Officer, Helen Barker, said neighbourly spirit was alive and kicking where she lives.

She said: " We live in a lovely cul-de-sac in Bradford that’s very multicultural and has a huge age range from two to 82 with neighbours who have all lived together for many years. My hubby is the ‘grand grass cutter’, looking after the lawns of several elderly neighbours which enables him to have a chat and ensure all is well. He loves this role, as do our neighbours, and we hope there will be many more years of this to come."

Our CEO Owen Williams also shared the chores taking the bins for his neighbour and cutting the shared grass.
