Our multi-talented ISS security officer Andy Hardie's latest painting will make us all "Sing".  It's of Halifax-born global superstar Ed Sheeran and Andy's donated it to the Macmillan Unit at CRH after a routine patrol made him think about some artwork which might appeal to our younger patients visiting the unit.

Health care assistant Cherol Oxford contacted Ask Owen after her Long Service award didn't go according to plan on the original night.  So Cherol highlighted how she felt via the direct line to our Chief Executive and all is now well.

Floods, burst rivers and closed roads... yet Community conquer all to care for our patients.

Earlier this month our Community Team battled  rainfall and heavy floods in the Upper Valley to reach their patients.  Roads  were closed, rivers burst  their banks and flooding made it a huge challenge, yet they battled through to  deliver their care.

Clare Vickers has been appointed as Head of Nursing for the new West Yorkshire Vascular Service.  It follows Neeraj Bhasin's appointment  earlier as Regional Clinical Director which he starts on April 1.  read more

The Medical Device Training Team had a visit from the CHFT Tea Trolley* this week.  They may be a small team but they are leading the way in training across West Yorkshire trusts.  read more

Here's our Annalisa Dance, Hannah Riley and Selina Shaw - just three of the Research and Development (R&D) team who have produced their first newsletter for CHFT colleagues. Mini-roundabout: work starting April 15 for 8-10 weeks.

This to give colleagues an early heads-up about lengthy road works at the mini roundabout at the bottom of the Elland by-pass - which are due to start next month.  CHFT is aware of the potential impact on colleagues’ travel arrangements and will be looking at shuttle bus times and routes as a result and will be issuing more information closer to April 15.  read more
