Trainee Nurse Associate Chloe Ward saved a life and scooped a Star Award..... and  today via CHFT Weekly a massive thankyou from the Dad she brought back from the brink.  Rob Bhattacharya, pictured insert, from Halifax, now on the road to recovery,  spoke about the day he nearly died and how he owes his life to Chloe  and others in the gym.

Two become one...and HRI's Acute Unit goes straight to silver standard.

The Acute Floor at Huddersfield were delighted to receive their Silver Exemplar Ward Accreditation. The review was done  by Matrons Janette Cockroft, Qusva Ilyas and Karen Melling.  On the 6 March the team had a small party on the ward to celebrate.

Bite-sized learning - making sure there's someone at home when discharging patients with care needs.

CHFT Events

Mindfulness courses start March 26 and all through the summer.

Our Mindfulness courses have been adapted to work around our colleagues' busy lives, including one-off taster sessions and longer courses to help support them. And a new trial programme aimed at reducing stress is also on offer for the first time.  read more

Finelli family's fab fundraiser effort for CRH Children's Ward

A fab fish tank - home to Mushy Peas, Goldie, Vincent, Albert, Charlie, Ben and Freddie - is among the achievements of the fab fundraisers on the Children's ward at CRH.  The fundraising committee is raising funds to enhance patient care on the ward and to try and make the time families spend on their ward more comfortable.  read more
