Waiting for tests and results can be a worrying and anxious time for patients. So our Colorectal telephone Assessment Clinics (TACs) are helping reduce the time to diagnosis, and in some cases surgery for patients.

Associate Director of Finance Stuart Baron, Assistant Director of Finance, Philippa Russell and Systems Accountant, Sarah Laherty all scooped gongs at the Yorkshire and Humber HFMA (Healthcare Financial Management Association) awards last week.  The trio were nominated by Director of Finance Gary Boothby, and Deputy Director of Finance, Kirsty Archer.

Fire Safety - training sessions available through to March

We take fire safety very seriously here at CHFT, and it's vital colleagues know what to do in the event of a fire. Our Fire Safety Officer Keith Rawnsley has arranged plenty of training sessions for colleagues who are currently non-compliant, or will drop out of compliance before the end of March.  read more

Bite-sized learning - new translated inpatient FFT cards

In an effort to make our Friends and Family Test (FFT) more inclusive, we've created a translated version of the FFT card for the four most common languages used by our interpreting service.  read more

Are you up-to-date with your NEWS2 training?

Our NEWS observation score tool will soon be replaced with NEWS2 in both EPR* and NerveCentre. There is an easy training course to complete if you haven’t yet done it, and you will also have to self-declare that you have done the training afterwards in ESR. Temporary closure of CRH library - from Monday 18th Feb

The team in the Library Service recently won a funding bid from Health Education England to completely refurbish the in the CRH library. To bring you your brand spanking newly refurbished library, they'll have to close for a short time.  read more
