Changes to the traditional mentorship model underway on 17 & 19 at HRI

Our Clinical Education Team is working closely with Huddersfield University, so students have more ownership of their own learning. It enables them to find solutions to their own problems, and instead of working independently is a collaborative approach to learning.

The big car parking debate - get involved to help us improve

There are some significant challenges around car parking across our Trust, particularly at the Calderdale site, and we’re constantly looking at ways to improve things for colleagues and patients. Bite-sized learning - PVC intravenous lines for IV Fluids and medication

There has been a rise in bloodstream infections. Evidence shows IV access lines used for intravenous fluids or medication can be associated with this problem. So today we're recapping on our Peripheral Venous Cannula (PVC policy).  read more
