Theatre Warriors success

The Theatre Warriors Team had a successful Saturday at Leeds Bramham Park last weekend when they all completed the Warrior challenge.  They are all officially total warriors!  Team Leader Obe Morake who works at HRI said: “It was brilliant! Everyone loved it, and we all came out injury free.

New translation and interpreting service

Pearl Linguistics has been appointed as the Trust's only interpretation and translation supplier.     From Wednesday July 1st they took over responsibility for all of our usual language services including;  Face-to-face interpreting, telephone interpreting, written translations and Braille.  read more

EPR - Maternity launch

EPR (Electronic Patient Records) went live across the whole Maternity unit on Tuesday 16th June. There will be a period of transition from paper to electronic records as those women with a new pregnancy move through the antenatal period to intrapartum and then postnatal.  read more

r-rostering available at home

People can now access their r-rostering accounts at home.  Request rostering accounts (r-rostering) allow users to view their shifts, request annual leave and request preferred shifts.  read more

With the hottest ever July day recorded yesterday, it's a good opportunity to remind colleagues that there is guidance available to help people cope with the extreme heat.  Whilst many of us relish the thought of long summer days, older people, young children and people with long standing health conditions can be severely affected by really hot and humid conditions.  read more

CQC preparation - Wed 8th July Lecture Theatre HRI 3pm

Further to our main story, a preparation event is being held to give guidance to staff about our upcoming CQC inspection which is expected at some point this year.  The CQC have already been to inspect every other trust in West Yorkshire, and we want to do everything we can to ensure we are as ready as possible.  read more
