More than half our frontline staff have now been vaccinated and all will go into our prize draw next week and a chance of winning the £100 shopping vouchers top prize. read more
New Rapid Assessment Centre at HRI opens
We have opened a new unit to care for patients arriving via ambulance into our A&E department at HRI. The room - a Rapid Assessment Unit - has been created in the former plaster room in the ED. Around 25% of our patients arrive by ambulance and the room gives us an opportunity to provide them with an assessment on arrival. read more
Ted Baker at CHFT - Just don't ask him to make you a suit!
Last Friday we welcomed Professor Ted Baker, the CQC’s Chief Inspector of Hospitals. Ted became Chief Inspector of Hospitals in August 2017. He joined CQC in 2014 as Deputy Chief Inspector of Hospitals after working in clinical practice for 35 years. read more
