A fond farewell to our team member midwife Bernie Arkins who has retired after 48 years working in the NHS.  Team Calderdale community midwives celebrated this achievement at their Big Breakfast (BB).The BB event is the last Friday of every month and aimed at a informal get together for all the team to catch up, bond and spread their good news.  read more

Latest Total Reward Statement available for colleagues in our new look ESR portal

If you were employed at CHFT before 31 March this year then a refreshed Total Reward Statement (TRS) is now available for you through ESR Self Service. And don't forget the ESR icon will look different from tomorrow (Friday 1 September) - so it would be a good opportunity to take a look at the new portal as well as your TRS.  read more

Bite sized learning.....Pharmacy soon delivering returns units

Medicines returns units are arriving on wards soon - meaning items for return to Pharmacy can be stored safely. The units have been provided specifically because of learning here at CHFT.  We found some medicines for return hadn't been stored correctly before being returned. Please share this information with your ward teams.  read more

Overgate's Midnight Walk

Take on the Overgate Hospice Midnight Walk this September and support those suffering from life-limiting illnesses in Calderdale. As a charity Overgate need to raise £6,800 every day to continue in the provision of their care, and this wouldn’t be possible without the continued support of the community.  read more
