   There's good news today as the Trust has announced an extra day’s annual leave for all staff (pro-rata) as a massive thank-you for all the commitment shown to EPR.   Cutover Weekend is finally here after two years of full-on planning and training for us all.

Our Flu Immuniser of the Year, community staff nurse, Anne King was joined by Chief Exec Owen and Head of Occupational Health Christine Bouckley as Owen presented his own personal cheque for the great work Anne did in last year’s seasonal flu campaign.  Winner Anne chose to donate Owen’s personal prize to Overgate – who she has close links with.

Our future King laughed out loud after being told our consultant oncologist was "shot to sh*t" after completing her first London Marathon.  By chance, our Jo Dent  ended up in the one queue where the medals were presented by the Royals last Sunday.

EPR Hospitality Friends ready for duty and restaurants open over the weekend

 Facilities' Maxine Lodge is one of 35 Hospitality Friends on duty this weekend. The Blue T-shirt Army will be meeting and greeting and supplying teas and coffees at front of house.  She said: " It is going to be great. We can have some fun as well as all the hard work I'm sure. EPR - Standard Operating Procedures and ePrescribing films available

A reminder that colleagues can access the SOPs and Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) on the EPR website - and as an added extra an e-Prescribing YouTube channel has been set up too.     Most of the QRGs will be available by close of play today, though Order Comms may be on Friday.        read more

Two Friday Bake-Offs! May 5 and May 12.

It's  International Day of the Midwife  next Friday May 5 and Nurses'  Day the following Friday on May 12 and as part of the celebrations we want to get our matrons mixing, our consultants creating and ICU staff icing.  We must have a good few Housekeeper Hollywoods and  Bed Manager Berrys around this Trust.  read more
