Tea and trees to promote staff well-being at Calderdale Royal Hospital

We're making excellent progress to making the most of our outdoor spaces at CRH for staff and patient benefit.

There is development of a staff well-being Forest Garden opposite the Diabetes Department as well as also developing one of the indoor courtyards for Stroke Rehabilitation and The Dales garden for mental health recovery.

We can't wait to get workshops underway in the New Year, beginning with fruit tree planting in February. Dates are still being confirmed and will be sent out soon.

Meanwhile, find us in the foyer of the hospital sharing a little more of the project and the health benefits of trees and green spaces on the following dates:

Thursday 8th December: 10am-12pm

Monday 19th December: 11am – 1pm

Whilst the days are short and the nights are long, and with a chill in the air, we will be tickling people's tastebuds with some sweet but sugar-free treats, and warming people with some wellbeing tea. Whether you celebrate Christmas or not we'll be helping people to craft a little gift for a tree of their choice.

We'd love you all to drop by and say Hello.
