Our Star Award is fast approaching its first birthday.     It's hard to believe but they've been up and running for a year now - amazing how time flies. They're  a tremendous  all-year-round way to recognise frontline staff for all their work every day and night of the year for our patients and their families.

Fab turnout for Yorkshire Fertility support group

Around 50 women turned out for the launch of our Yorkshire Fertility Support Group.     The group has been started up by  Halifax mum Sarah Banks whose son was conceived after fertility treatment at CRH. She later went on to conceive a daughter naturally but wanted to offer some extra support for women undergoing treatment.  read more

Enhanced and improved ICODD for CHFT!

The Individualised Care of the Dying Document (ICODD) assists staff in delivering the 5 Priorities of Care for dying patients, and a working group has improved and updated the document.  read more

Major changes ahead for West Yorkshire and Harrogate healthcare providers

Our Trust and our CCG partners are part of the new plans to transform and reshape care right across West Yorkshire. The West Yorkshire Sustainability and Transformation Plan (WYSTP) has been published today.  read more

Temporary change to the shuttle bus stop location at HRI

Due to refurbishment works we've had to change where colleagues and patients get the shuttle bus at HRI. From today,Thursday 10 November, the bus will stop and pick-up only at the main entrance at HRI.  read more

Simulation Network User meeting stimulates interest from across Yorkshire

A recent Simulation User Network meeting attracted almost 40 people from trusts right across Yorkshire and beyond, to let CHFT showcase our great work.     The day was a mixture of presentations and workshops in and around the use of simulation in health care.  read more

Ward 2D is back in action

Ward 2 is back in action after a two month refurbishment.     Ward 2A/B/C/D are now back on their own wards following a mini refurb which was been carried out over the last two months to improve the environment for colleagues and patients.  read more

COPD Day - 5th biggest killer in the world

A fab turn out at the latest Great Day out

The latest popular event was held on Tuesday 25th October at the Westwood Centre, Golcar.     The idea is to have a peaceful day out with a chance to renew and refresh ourselves in the beautiful countryside on our doorstep.
