Here she is - our first Star Award winner.  We received so many nominations which shows the strength in depth across the Trust. We had them from all areas, in all roles and they were a real joy to read. She will receive this fab certificate, shopping vouchers and will start off a  CHFTWall of Fame.  So thankyou to all the nominators.

From 5% to 60% - teams deliver for Fractured Neck of Femur patients

Our teams caring for around 500 patients annually with broken hips (fracture neck of femurs) have made huge strides to bring care up to meet Best Practice Guidance. Patients suffering fractured neck of femurs often have lots of complicated needs, many are in their 80s and 90s.

It is the party season but the address on Janette's Cockroft's invitation takes a bit of beating. No 10 Downing Steet.     She spent two hours in the historic reception rooms inside the most famous address in the land with David Cameron and Jeremy Hunt and about 200 other healthcare professionals.

Celebrating Success 2015 - the results from last night!

Cheers rang out and emotions ran high at stunning Huddersfield Town Hall last night at Celebrating Success 2015.     The top award of the night went to a team of midwives who now perform a little operation on newborn babies if they are born tongue-tied and cannot feed properly.
